How do I register?
All families and staff at NLCS are eligible to register on the Portal.

It takes just sixty seconds to sign up for an account:

-
Click here to visit the Portal - bookmark this address to save time in the future.
-
Click Create an account. To open your account, you will need your full name, email address, and phone number. You will set a username and password at this stage, which will be your login for the system.
-
You will receive an email confirming your registration. Please click on the link in the email to verify your account and finalise your registration.
-
Log in to the system with your new username and password. When you have logged in, you will be presented with the home screen, as shown at the top of this page.

All you need is their full name (as registered with the school), their grade and class number, and to identify any food allergies if applicable. Click Add - and repeat this process if you have more than 1 child at NLCS.
-
You are now ready to continue with meal pre-ordering (KG-G5), or setting up cards for canteen cashless card payments (G6-G12/staff/parents) - please check out our guidance!
E-wallet
The core of the system is the family e-wallet - a central balance which is topped up using the Portal. Family e-wallet balance can be spent in the following ways:

-
For all students in KG-G5: credit for online meal pre-orders
-
For all students in G6 and above: VictusPay credit for cashless payments in the canteen, as well as parents, guardians (e.g. domestic helpers visiting the campus), and staff.

We will describe both separately below; if your children are in separate sections of the school, you will be able to manage both from a single Portal account.
1. KG-G5: Pre-orders
Per NLCS school policy, all students in Grades 5 and below must have their food items ordered for them by an adult. These items are prepared freshly every day, and are delivered to the relevant eating area or classroom.

If you have registered your child or children in an applicable grade, you will be able to click the Pre-order button or tile, and you will be presented with the available menu. From this convenient screen, you can:
-
Pick meals for the whole term (currently, August to October 2023).
-
View allergen information - if you have identified any food allergies for your child, the system will prohibit you from selecting an item, and will display a hashed pattern over the menu item.
-
Order for more than one child, simply by toggling their names

When you have ticked all the items you wish to order, you can review your selection in your basket, and check out.

The system will deduct funds from your e-wallet, and if your balance is insufficient, it will prompt you to top up your balance before continuing the purchase.
2. G6-G12: Pay using your card
The NLCS canteen is fully cashless, promoting increased student safety (less chance of theft or lost money), and increasing the speed of service in the canteen.

The primary method of payment for students in G6-12 in the canteen is via the family e-wallet. When you register for an account, you will have access to the "Card Management" page. Here, you will be able to register a EZLink or NETS FlashPay card (using the 16 digit CAN number), and map it to your child for use in the canteen.
